The Legal Services Department provides legal advice and services to members of the executive and staff on matters affecting Barwon Health.

The Legal Services Department is not able to provide advice to consumers or staff on personal legal matters.

Subpoenas to produce documents

Subpoenas to produce documents should be addressed to The Proper Officer, Barwon Health and served on the Health Information Services Department, Level 3, University Hospital Geelong via the Bellerine Street entrance.

Service of writs

The Legal Services Department will accept service of writs and other court related documents.

Privacy Officer

General Counsel is Barwon Health’s Privacy Officer. Any complaints relating to privacy should be directed to the Consumer Liaison Office in the first instance.
